The Roof of The Great Mosque of Demak

The eldest mosque located in Pulau Jawa and built by Wali Sembilan or Wali Songo. The roof of this building has three part that represent something on Islamic believes. My lecturer has gave me an assignment that required me to find the meanings of the design of the roof. First I thought the design of the roof was just for the air ventilation and after hours of searching on the internet, I found a blog that told every single things about The Great Mosque of Demak.

From what I have read, the roof composed by three layer is because it represent the Aqidah Islamiah that consists of three parts :-

1. Islam
2. Iman

3. Ihsan
