Dougong

-A wooden structure that was used as an important element in Chinese architecture.
-It actually was a bracket that used in a framed structure building in ancient Chinese building's.
-It was placed in between column and the roof.
-(dou) means wood bracket
-(gong) means Short beam arms

Mandala

-Is a sanskrit for "circle" 
-It is a circular sacred art related to both religion that is Buddhist and Hindu.
-Every Mandala represent different meaning for different religion.
-Christian also have its own Mandala.

Wat


-Wat is a Sanskrit word (वात) which mean Vattaka or monastery temple that is located specifically in Cambodia, Thailand or Laos.
-It also mean school.
-Wat is Buddhist temples which located in Indo-China region.
-It does not have a specific design and have various form.
-One of the most significant and popular Wat is Angkor Wat.

-in Cambodia, all worshiping places is considered as Wat.
-Technically all Buddhist worshipping place is called Wa


Tri Angga

-(tri) mean three and (angga) mean part.
-Tri-angga is a hierarchy of architecture that was developed in Bali architecture period.
-it consist of three part that is high, middle and low.
-High= Utama
-Middle= Madya
-Low= Nista

-Tri-angga divides between the lowest part to the higher part just like the human body that put head as the respected and leg as the contemtible.
-Tri-angga is also applied as the hierarchy of people in Bali.
-The high-sacred mountains wichform a ridge from east to west through the center of the island,the
-The middle-is where most of the Balinese live
-The low-is the sea.
